Northern Beaches NSW COVID Shipping Update: 18th December 2020

Following is our rapid response strategy for delivery to the Northern Beaches. We have immediately adjusted protocols for delivery to affected areas to keep our customers, our team and our communities safe.

All deliveries will proceed as normal, except for additional strict safety measures when delivering to affected postcodes.

We ask for patience and compliance from all of our customers during significant COVID events, so we can contribute to a rapid response.

The following measures will take place immediately for all affected postcodes and will remain in place until the cluster is confirmed to be under control:

  • Drivers will not enter secure unit blocks and will instead buzz / use the intercom to leave the box in the foyer or at the main entry, if there is no response.
  • If a customer is there to receive the item drivers will continue to record an "x" on on behalf of the customer and record the recipient name, but will not physically approach a customer.
  • Drivers have all been equipped with gloves and masks.
  • Please do not expect drivers to approach you or carry goods into densely-populated unit blocks. This is for everyone's safety.

We sometimes get complaints from customers who ask for drivers to hand-deliver packages to their door. If the driver deems this to be unsafe, we ask that you understand why this cannot take place under these circumstances.
